Alone, finally

My boyfriend went back home and a new holiday began, but for only a few days left. He was not very happy with me "chasing" him but then I had told him I wanted to stay alone for most of my holiday.

I finally could try to meet the two boys I had known from Facebook ; the first one was another isan boy who had to drop out of school at the end of the school year last March when he was still 17 y/o, because of lack of money. He then came to Pattaya working in a massage shop that I could identify as Ice Massage ; however I never saw him during my stay and then learned he had moved to a girl massage place in the same area. Unfortunately he was also nowhere to be seen, and I guess I will try to forget him. Especially as his Facebook now shows him in a high end hotel in Jomtien where some lucky farang is probably enjoying his charms.

I was luckier with another target, a cambodian guy working in a Jomtien Bar. I first stopped in the bar when coming from from the beach to reacquaint myself with some boys I had taken in the past – not difficult as the staff here is very friendly and eager to share drinks with customers. One of the guys I knew from two years ago suggested that I could bring two or three boys to Kor Larn which they never had the opportunity to visit : himself of course, my target boy, and another one that I "offed" when seeing that target boy was not available.

Great idea, as going with this gang of three khmer boys allowed me to live one of these days that make a holiday in Thailand so special. They were all on-time at the pier where boats leave for the island, which was a good beginning. And on the island they decided to ride a banana tour without asking money from me : they knew I was not interested and I guess the tip I gave to the one I had "offed" was partly used to pay : nice mindset. I really had a blast looking at these three friends playing in the water as if there were no to-morrow, forgetting their hard life and their worries, and offering their perfect bodies to the sun (and to my eyes). And they sincerely enjoyed this escape from everyday life. I could also get more intimate with my target boy and make clear I wanted to take him, which I did.

I spent my last evening drinking beers with the three of them who seemed sincerely thankful for this trip, and for the tips I gave them for this great time together. I must say that my heart has been moved by one of the three guys : not the older one, not the target boy, but the third one who is a winner in the flesh despite being quite ordinary on pictures (I think I had even "unfriended" him on Facebook, not knowing he was working in this bar).

And that's all for Pattaya 2016, once again a great time thanks to the boys, the beach and the sun.

Pattaya the way I like it

Years follow one another but don't look alike. I was in Pattaya last year at the same time (early November) and did not like it ; but I really enjoyed my time this year. With less tourists around, and especially at the beach, Pattaya is a nice place to be, which I had forgotten.

Sure a construction site going on near my hotel had been a disappointment on arrival, not too much because of noise but as it could mean less privacy and a less sunny rooftop swimming pool in the future ; then hotel rooms in Pattaya are not used mostly for looking at the landscape. Which was more rewarding was the always welcoming staff and the fact that the customer base still includes mostly well-behaved farangs despite low prices and a good location.

When I had spent only two afternoons in an overcrowded Dong Tan Beach last year, I found myself happily stuck in my usual concession almost every day. The operation is rather small and quiet, and we were blessed this year by the daily attendance of the young son of the operator's girlfriend : a gorgeous 14 y/o isan boy, who spent most of his days lazily playing with his phone... an obviously elusive dream for still some years to come. Cuties were few and far between and as always ice-cream sellers were at the top of the list as far as looks – and sales success – were concerned.

With the boyfriend in tow, it was difficult to elaborate scenarios to lure boys to my room … I would have liked to give my calling card to some waiters or sellers but what about setting anything up if they had called me back ? This obviously spoilt part of my stay, and I will make it clear that my next stay in Pattaya will be entirely on my own. Not that I did not appreciate my friend's presence in our evening escapades which lead us to Sky Boy Bar, Oh Aharn Restaurant or to the always great show in The Venue Jomtien. We also tripped to Kor Lan where beaches are also closed on Wednesday but has some private spaces where sunbeds can be rented.

Koh Larn, another paradise
Quiet Wednesday in Koh Larn

We also went to a boy karaoke along with three of his friends and a boy offed from Sky Bar. This shop is located near the Pattaya Tai / Pattaya 3 crossing on a soi linking with Soi Ko Pai 4. Every hour or so, a full staff of about 20 boys goes on the scene and every table is strongly pushed to ask for 1 or 2 of them to join, with a fee of 200 THB added to the bill. The boys go from very cute to ordinary, and from shy to eager, which makes a rather pleasant although expensive experience. My boyfriend and the Sky Bar boy agreed on letting me sleep with the latter, which I did not even really intended to do, but I happily obliged while my boyfriend went to another place with his friends.

Besides this I paid some visits to Good Boys, Nice Boys, Vassa, 360 Bar, with no real interest for what was on offer. Sunee Plaza was mostly very quiet as described on the boards, and I visited only some beer bars, chatting or not with the boys. One of them in in Diamond Bar was especially friendly, and very straightforward about what he would do in bed, but not my type. And I never forgot to stop in one of the Jomtien Complex beer bars where I still have some naughty target to hit.

Not being able to off anyone in my room, I fell back again on the massage places, and must say that I was rather delighted by the two boys I chose (separately) in Ice Massage (next door to Salt and Pepper Restaurant). The first one immediately took good care of my rear part, making sure that my hand was pressing his package, and the second one – a brow skinned young lad from Ubon – took off his clothes immediately to his briefs, and after some light massage, insisted on my crotch ; this obviously lead to more nudity, two happily erect dicks, and even passionate French kissing which is a rare occurrence in this kind of places.

I finally convinced my friend to go back home for preparing the reopening of his business, which will leave me by myself for five or six nights between Pattaya and Bangkok.

Missed opportunities

I had a comfortable stay in Bangkok but it was rather tame in relation to what I had expected. I quickly settled down into routines of everyday life, without exciting adventures. Truth to be said, I must say that I had some difficulty because of a fall in the bathroom of my hotel in Hua Hin ; the boy had not used the shower curtain and I literally fell down in his arms with a sore back, probably a cracked tail-bone.

The fact that Saphan Kwai was very quiet did not help, especially when I was told about the closing of the only gogo bar left in the area - and that I did not read about in any webboard : Be High had closed two months ago, seemingly due to problems that some boy had with customers. The fact that the owner's husband works in the police probably did not help in these times.

And also there was the unexpected visit of my boyfriend, who had to close his karaoke during one month after His Majesty the King passing away. Meaning he had both to escape the boring life you can imagine when you are stuck upcountry with nothing to do, and also to try to get some money to make for the loss of one month's income. Listening to my good heart, I accepted to stay with him longer than expected, be it at the price of some drawbacks, but with the benefit of sharing meals and good times together.

I went to Suphanburi alone as planned before, and had all the time needed to visit the town – typical thai provincial town where life revolves around the wats and the commercial centers. The local boys were very decent to look at but mostly in groups so nothing to hope from them, and the local Facebook gay group was very quiet. To top it all, I could not even visit the major attraction in town which is a tower allowing large views above the whole area ; it is closed on Mondays, and you guess on which day I was there.

Available bedroom mandatory
I had also planned a stop in the neighboring Ang Thong, as I had read someone there tried to hire boys for an undefined work. I had secretly hoped it could be some hidden boy brothel but bad luck again : the Facebook account of the potential recruiter had just been closed when I tried to ask him for more information.

Pattaya looks promising but will probably miss the scent of adventure which needs at least an available bedroom to be fulfilled …

Hopes made real

As soon as I arrived in Udon Thani, I phoned the first boy I had wanted to meet., and he was OK to come and see me. This year, no mother wanting him to stay at home (but did she ever tell this ?), he arrived at the agreed time and of course looked beautiful with his long hair and lean body. We immediately went for a meal at UD Town food center which is really a nice place with heaps of handsome waiters and fresh beer. Not that he ordered the cheapest meal but it was such a pleasure to see his smile that I could net event think about that.

Udon Thani boy
Ball is a 19 y/o old boy that I befriended on Facebook two years ago when he was a waiter in a pub in Chonburi. He then came back home in Udon Thani province where I had met him shortly last year, strongly suggesting him that I wanted to sleep with him, which he did not seem to object to.

And so we were quickly on our way to my hotel where no question was asked. For private reasons, I will not tell a lot about what happened next, mostly because he agreed for me to publish his picture here – like last year. Let’s say that I had badly wanted him, and could get him ; at the end of the night, that is all what matters. He left at 2 in the afternoon after watching a movie and a last ice-cream at the local Svenssens branch and of course some compensation for his time … I read in his Facebook that he had made ‘good money’ so the tip must have been up to his expectations.

After another meal at UD Town and a night alone, the other boy arrived at 11 am and wanted to rest a little. In fact he did not want to wait before continuing the brief session we had last year in a rest room of the local department store. Once again no question asked at my hotel, and we could proceed to the room before ending both on the bed discovering our bodies and our desires. He was as hot as on the first day, but really still looked like a young boy although being now legal.

I almost wanted to cancel the trip I had planned in Bangkok and Hua Hin, fearing to feel uneasy about having such a young-looking cutie in tow. Finally we tried not to be seen together too often, and did not get bad looks from everyone, be it in my hotel in Bangkok or even in the supposedly more conservative Hua Hin. However the boy took some liberties on the least night in Hua Hin where he staid until late with a so-called friend, which could as well have been a boyfriend or a Facebook shag … as this closeted gay boy seems to have a very strong sex drive for strong fuckers (which I am not).

At least I could use my free time to review the Hua Hin bar scene, which is now reduced to the long lasting Red Indian Bar and to the rather new Guys Bar. Red Indian has not changed and probably does not appeal to many, due to very few staff. On the contrary Guys Bar has a very welcoming thai owner, and some interesting boys rather on the “manly’ side ; they also have a massage service.

Finally I was rather relieved to send the boy on his flight back home ; it had probably been a great time for him, as he could escape his boring countryside and discover many new opportunities (along with some new clothes and a much needed financial reward}, but it was rather frustrating for me not to be able to do many things together. Sorry, the boy did not want his picture to be seen on the net.

Now back to Bangkok for a more peaceful time, enjoying both the quietness of my hotel and the hectic city life.

Looking around

I love being in Bangkok and usually begin my holidays staying there for a few days before getting accustomed to thai life. This year, due to various commitments, I had chosen to stay only one day before heading to Udon Thani.

sleepy thai boy
Sleepy
However I had to make a lot of things during only one afternoon and despite being tired from the flights. Most important : checking my ATM card as we all know that how useful this small plastic thing is for our success in Thailand. So I can use my card for still two years but could as well get a new card with a 6-digit code immediately. And then there was the mandatory walk around my beloved Saphan Kwai area. Not a lot has changed except still new condo developments, once again close to my hotel – which for the time being remains an island of peace among all these never-ending construction sites. The karaoke shops are still there with the addition of a Door karaoke, but they were almost void of boys in this Wednesday evening by the own account of one owner. As for the massage shops, they look promising and still going on.

What is still there too are the street food stalls. Pradiphat Road seems for now to have escaped the craziness which wants to make Bangkok like Singapore. Unlike Silom which is now just another street in another wolrd city.

To-morrow, flight to Udon Thani for a three-days trip which could not be described more accurately than being a sex tourism tour.

Sad day

To-day is a sad day for thai people and all those who were lucky to know how His Majesty The King Bhumibol Adulyadej was a great leader for the country.

I send my deepest prayers and condolences to everyone mourning.

Keeping up with the times

Not one post since last March did not mean that I am not interested any more in going to Thailand. In fact my mind was in Thailand more often than suitable, thanks to daily contacts with real or virtual friends through Facebook. And now there is only one week left before it will be my body's turn to arrive in Bangkok.

Social media allowed me to stay in touch with the two Udon Thani boys I met last time, and a trip to Udon is already in the pipeline. The guy I met for only a short talk seems to be interested by a new meeting, which will probably take place in a hotel room as he is not shy at all (he had worked in a pub in Sri Racha when only 17 y/o, and he is now 19). I am much more involved with the second one ; he is clearly looking for money, but I cannot forget the short but hot encounter we had in the Central Plaza restrooms. I will invite him for three days in Bangkok and Hua Hin, a short trip which hopefully will allow him to forget a very oppressive atmosphere at home. Not that we will sleep in separate beds of course. I only fear to feel not at ease to have a rather young (but legal) guy in tow and I guess he will be labelled as my step-son on more than a few times.

The links I had with my boyfriend have distended somewhat ; I had given him much more money than I can afford, to set up his own business (a country karaoke in his home village), and simply get bored to have to give more. I guess we will meet only for two or three days, possibly for Songkran, and then will stay friends. The responsability I felt for him was too much of a burden – financially and emotionnally – and I do not want to have it any more.

Besides Pattaya, the agenda also shows a short trip to Suphanburi and Ang Thong (floods allowing), just to discover new places and, why not, new opportunities to meet boys. Ang Thong seems to have something particular about rent boys that I would like to discover : some one recruits boys in the 14/21 y/o range on Facebook for a high-paying job opportunity in this town and I guess it has nothing to do with rice harvesting.

Generally speaking, many boys seem to sell services on Facebook in this times, especially during October when they are on school holidays. I already have some contacts and hope to jump on more chances when being in Thailand … like a cutie sending a message like … "I go Bangkok to-night, have nowhere to go, who can help me ?". Or like this boy from Roi Et who just now answered "jack-off together" when I asked him what a tourist could do in his town (now in the process of getting further ...).

For sure I like the bars and the strolling along the Saranrom streets but, hey, you have to keep up with the times

Tour of Thailand

One of the thai riders .. good luck boy !
With the arrival of spring, big cycling events are now taking place almost weekly in Europe, especially in Italy, France and Belgium. I spend a lot of time looking at them on TV, commenting on them on webboards, reading about them.

But cycling is also coming to Thailand ; to-morrow will be the start of The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhon's Cup "Tour of Thailand", a six-days event which will go along the Mekhong from Ubon Ratchathani to Udon Thani. The race is part of the UCI Asian Tour. Stage arrivals are scheduled in Mukdahan, Sakon Nahon, Bung Kan, Nong Khai, Loei and Udon Thani ... so many words which are music to my ears ....

And then there are the riders, mostly young men from asian countries, among them two all-thai teams ... I wish them good luck and full success during this ride.

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

A job well done by the admen of Lay chips in Thailand. The boys are all over Facebook posing with the bag over their mouth.

Sorry, they are much better-looking without it !

Wish I were there

I am now at home and cannot help thinking that my planning was quite poor this year. Not really my fault because I had to squeeze in my last trip between some of the few commitments I still have at home, but this made me to miss the "Bike for Dad" event.

Ready for the ride !
I love riding a bike (not the noisy and puffing kind), I love Bangkok and Thailand, and this event was an unique opportunity to blend my two passions. And this in a quiet and secure environment, far from some rowdy drivers who make Thai roads the most dangerous in the world. Seeing the Ride live on the thai TV made me regret not taking part still more. What struck me the most was seeing all these people smiling and obviously happy to ride together behind the Prince.

Oh, I do not wish to be too excited, and can imagine the social and political background of this event. But if riding a bike could make thai people more united, I am all for it. I could even imagine that this could be an incentive for them to ride their bikes more often in their everyday life, and generally to live in a more healthy way, but I would not hold my breath.

In some way I could manage to take part in the event, as one of the rides planned out of Thailand took place not far from my home. There were about 150 people attending, mostly thai people living there, and mostly women. The atmosphere was very cheerful, with everyone smiling and happy to be together paying a tribute to the beloved King. I could spot two or three lads that I would have liked to know better, but it was obviously not the right place to even think of it.

On top of that, I understand that there is now a big two-weeks annual festival in Udon Thani with a lot of shopping, parades, live music and fun (and some brawling too). It is called Thung Sri Muang Festival, takes place from December the 1st onwards and is aimed at honoring His Majesty the King. Reading from Facebook, it seems that every boy living within 50 miles around wants to go, but obviously they have neither transport nor money nor place to stay in town … I guess I could have selflessly helped some (or at least one every day) by offering bed and board free of charge, with some beer money as a bonus.

So time to be smarter when planning a next trip to Thailand … But then there is always something interesting going on in this fabulous place !

Saphan Kwai massage shops

Samuel Johnson could have said it : "when a man is tired of Bangkok, he is tired of life". Eleven nights and a half in Bangkok versus only nine in Pattaya : if that is an indicator, no doubt I would lean towards the Big Mango against Sin City every time the usual fruitless quarrel rears its head. Between my trips, I spend more and more time around my homely hotel room in Saphan Kwai, and this for one plain reason : I feel really good there.

Most of my days were spent going here and there in Bangkok ; when in Farangland, I live in a quiet - albeit very scenic – place, so any reason is a good reason to partake in the vibrant Bangkok life among thousands of people. When enough is enough, I then come back to Saphan Khwai, often being the only farang left in the BTS train after Phayathai station (except on week-ends). And from the station, it's then a rather circuitous route to my room, in order to see what's is on offer in front of the many massage shops now operating in the area.

thai massage boy
Waiting for a customer
I did not visit all of them, and this was probably wise as I read in a thai forum that not all provide extra services. Most have a queue system, so you will go with the boy whose turn has come ; however you usually can insist on choosing the boy you prefer, or even ask for one you know from a previous visit or from someone's advise. Do know that except in Nine Spa, there is no privacy if you ask for a thai massage or foot massage. Other kinds will entitle you to a more or less private room, but usually with light partitions not going up to the ceiling (common air-conditioned system). If you have time on your hands, it has been suggested that you ask for a foot massage first, just to see how things are working and which boys meet your requirements.

The places I visited were all clean, welcoming and charged reasonable rates especially before 5pm. So from Saphan Kwai BTS station (exit n°1) and going back towards Pradiphat Road, you will pass by these shops :
> Amor Spa and Am Fine under exit n° 1 : two adjacent places, one small and the other larger where I could saw some handsome lads but did not enter.
> Going on along Phahonyothin, enter the second soi on the right leading to 39 Underground Sauna : again two adjacent boy-only places on your right with many cute guys : I-Sabay and Romphruk. I went twice to the latter, which has mostly vietnamese boys ; extra-service proposed and tip agreed, and then the boy will more or less accept to be in the nude
> Turn left, pass by Phahon Theater (another infamous gay place by all accounts), you will find Pailin on your left. Few boys in front of the shop but it seems busy inside ; strict queue system I am said, including girls.
> Follow the very narrow pathway and then turn left back to Phahonyothin : facing Big C you will pass by Noble Spa, and then Sabaidee just at the corner of Pradiphat Road : these are shops with both boys and girls and a queue system as well, but you could probably avoid it if you order an oil massage and ask to choose – especially in the last one where I had only a nice foot massage by a nice girl.
> Cross the road and go to Big C, follow the car entrance and exit on the right of the mall and then turn right on the Soi leading south to Suthisan Road : you will reach Seven Massage who has just relocated in a subsoi here. Boy-only place where I did not had enough time to go, but looks promising and very professionnal.

thai boy massaging thai boy
Will extras be part of the game ?
And finally there is of course Nine Spa in the Liberty Garden Hotel, the only place which comes close to a real gay massage shop with private rooms and slightly higher prices ; here, extra services are part of the game, possibly including hard ones. You choose your boy from a tablet which shows their pictures. The cashier is not always available and as he is the only one you can see in the flesh (so he has a definite advantage over others), you could regret it at first. Most of their boys are nowadays hill-tribe boys from Tak province ; I highly recommend Phet who knows perfectly how to make you shiver with pleasure along the whole process, bringing you like in a trance when serious things begin.

The premises will undergo a complete renovation, and the shop will have to move near the BTS station – but I still do not know exactly where. If I don't get any information before my next trip, be sure I will comb the entire area until I can find it !
